The assumes a) that there is a funding to bring this technology utopia to fruition and b) that parents will be financially able to support and encourage their child's use of technology.

We agree with the author's statement that, "The need exists to expand universal service to provide poor and rural areas with broadband." This applies to us because so many of our students do not have acess to the internet at home.

We disagree with the author's vision that our students will be able to complete in the global market because, as of now, our country does not fund education as much as it should. We continue to lag behind other countries in terms of technology as they continue to make cuts in educational funding.

We will aspire to suscribe to the author's vision of having technology integrated classrooms if we are given the ways and means to achieve this lofty goal..
